With over 15 years of experience developing content for top-tier educational publishers—and a lifetime dedicated to teaching and learning—Amber Silverman has the knowledge and skills to create engaging learning experiences and resources to meet a variety of needs. Amber has developed research-based courses and materials on many topics, including: reading intervention, the science of reading, secondary writing instruction, trauma-informed instructional practices, and culturally responsive teaching. She was formerly a Director of Content Development at Scholastic and was a recipient of the Scholastic Professional Learning Services Award.

 

Amber holds a Master of Arts in Teaching, as well as a bachelor's degree in English and Studio Art. She is a certified English Language Arts teacher with experience developing standards-based curriculum and working with students of all ages.
